Pumpkin and October seem to go hand and hand! I love everything pumpkin and even though most of the recipes out there may not be so healthy, I thought I would take the month of October to post a healthy pumpkin based recipes! The first one up is a pumpkin pie smoothie! It is like having your favorite piece of pie in a light & refreshing way!
¼ pumpkin puree
½ c + 2 tbsp milk of choice
1 tsp sweetner (Stevia, Honey, Agave, or omit)
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
1/16 tsp ground nutmeg
1/16 tsp ground ginger
1 ½ c ice cube
Add everything except the ice to a blender, and pulse until combined. Add the ice, and blend until smooth.
